With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Phelps of Shelbyville, Indiana, born in Rushville, Indiana, who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. "Bill" Brown and Mayzelle Brown (Anderson). She is survived by: her husband Allen J. Phelps; her children, Stacia Gayle Ping (Matthew) of Shelbyville, Dee-Anna Brown (David) of Shelbyville and Roger Allen Phelps (Heather) of Rushville; her sisters, Linda Newton of Georgia and Patricia Brackney (Michael) of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Ashley, Mackenzie, Hayley, Creona, Alysia, Tyler, AJ III, Dylan, Joshua, Madison, Connor and Noah; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Jazmine, Braxton, Wyatt and Oakley; and her pet Johnny Cash. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
