He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Dale and Mildred Fay Butcher (Phifer). He is survived by : his wife Patricia "Patty" Smith; his children, Amy Dillon (Heath) of St. Paul, Lori Coffman (Cliff) of Shelbyville and Jeffrey Butcher (Mandy) of Fairland; his siblings, Frank Butcher of Birmingham, Alabama and Fay Swift of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Reagan, Katelynn and Haley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
