He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harry Ingersoll, Sr. and Velma Ingersoll (Surface); and his daughter Angela Ingersoll. He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Ingersoll (Courtnee) of Sheridan, Heather Shaffer (Corey) of North Salem and Melissa Ingersoll (Andy) of Pittsboro; his grandchildren, Ally Ingersoll, Kamryn Shaffer, Andrew Gleason, Nick Shaffer, Ava Gleason, Austin Ingersoll and Elliana Ingersoll; and his siblings, David Ingersoll of Pendleton, Bill Ingersoll and Janet Kresser (John) of Carmel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
