Karson Wyatt Hochstetler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 13, Karson Wyatt Hochstetler of Shipshewana, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather William Pea; and his great-grandparents, Julia Balyeat, Carl E. Bergstedt and James Hochstetler. He is survived by: his parents, Brad W. Hochstetler and Jessica E. Hochstetler (Bergstedt) of Shipshewana; his brother Kyle Hochstetler of Shipshewana; his grandparents, Jim, Pam Bergstedt of Shipshewana, Mike and Jody Myers of Wolcottville; his great-grandparents, Roger Balyeat of Shipshewana and Barb Hochstetler of Topeka; his aunts and uncles, Melissa, Ronald Mishler of LaGrange, Judith and Lance Miller of Bristol; his cousins, Wesley, Maxwell, Eric and David Mishler of LaGrange; and his pet Izzy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shore Church (7235 W 100 N, Shipshewana, IN 46565). Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karson's memory to the Shore Kids Ministry, helping continue the spirit of joy and love that Karson shared or LaGrange County Parks c/o LaGrange County Connecting with Youth.
