He was predeceased by: his parents, William Holden and Viola Holden (Nickel); his sister Donna Holden; his grandson Caleb Gill; and his son-in-law Randy Rush.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Holden (Simmons) of Shirley; his children, Betty Jo Rush (Jon) of Noblesville, Joyce Gill (Roger) of Shirley and Bob Holden (Kim) of Shirley; his siblings, David Nickel (Marlene), Richard Nickel, Linda Hof, Rita Rady and Debbie Dudas (Keith); his grandchildren, Gina (Tom), Josh (Chelsea), Courtney (Matt) and CJ (Charles Jerry); and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Ross, Isabelle, Liv, Eli, Max, Knox, Noah, Ashlyn, Lily, Leah, Elizabeth and Ben. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Condo Chapel (130 S Main St, Wilkinson, IN 46186). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bozell Funeral Homes- Condo Chapel (130 S Main St, Wilkinson, IN 46186). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Glen Cove Cemetery (8955 McCullum, Knightstown, IN 46148).
