He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richards and Corena Richards (Hutchison). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Richards; his sons, Charles Richards, Jr. and Marc Richards (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Marcus Richards (Dina), Michael Richards, Alex Richards, Sydney Richards and Nathan Richards; his great grandchild Carter Richards; and his siblings, Marion "Knobbie" Young (Warren), Judy Lindsey and Johnny Richards. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
