He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lyons and Laura Stevens Lyons; his former wife Edna Juanita Thomas Lyons; and his siblings, Elva Eugene Lyons, Earl Leroy Lyons, Cleo Ray Lyons and Joyce Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret May Lyons; his sister Rosella May (Vernon); his sons, Byron Lyons and Kennie Lyons; his grandchildren, Tammy Wilkinson (Paul), Marshall Lyons (Tami), Allie Lyons and Taylor Ankrom; and also, Ron Jordan, Cathy Womack (Montie), David Arnold, Melinda Schludecker (Brent) and Amanda Smith (Paul). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
