It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lee Hammer of Shirley, Indiana, born in La Fontaine, Indiana, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Hammer and Mildred Marguerite Hammer (Newell) of Shirley, Indiana.; his son Donald Wayne; his grandson Joshua Wayne Johnson; his brother Chester Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn and Bill Siefert.
He is survived by: his daughter Suzie Johnson; his grandchild Kerry Zoller (Zac); his great grandchildren, Parker, Kacy, Lyza and Abrianna; his grandchildren, Cory Johnson (Jane), Wilder, Eleanor and Chris (Becky); his great grandchildren, Finley, Fallyn and Foster; his son Roger Hammer (Cindy); his grandchild Ryan (Heather); his great grandchildren, Evelynn, Warren and Iris; his grandsons, Brad (Meghan) and Nick (Ashlin); his great grandchildren, Jace, Lily and Oliver; his son Russ (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Cassandra (Ryan) and Kiersten (Curtis); his son Ron (Suzanne); and his grandchildren, Wes (Laken) and Andrew.
