It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald E. Wernick of Shirley, Indiana, born in Oregon, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Wernick and Fran Martin Wernick; and his stepson Douglas Irby. He is survived by : his wife Shirley A. Odom Wernick; his children, Julie Torgerson (Randy), Kathy Somers (Chuck), Randall Wernick (Tina) and Gregory Wernick; and his stepdaughter Kathy Warfield (Scott). He is also survived by five grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 step-granddaughter, and many cousins.
