She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Maple and Delores Maple (Young); her stepgrandson Craig Shuck; and her son-in-law Jeff Kowalski. She is survived by: her husband James F. Smith; her daughter Jackie Kowalski; her stepdaughters, Jamie Shuck (Rick) and Renee Waddell (Randy); her granddaughters, Jalyn Kowalski and Jerran Kowalski; her stepgrandchildren, Eric Mathis (April), Wendy Loria, Shelley Buettner (Dale), Bryan Mitzelfelt (Ana) and Brad Mitzelfelt (Cassandra); her sisters, Ann White and JoEllen Matthews (Steve); and her nephews, Josh Matthews and Joel Matthews. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
