He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy L. Minnick and Grace Minnick (Newman); and his siblings, Judith Hanes (Minnick) of Middletown, John Patrick Minnick of Valrico, FL and Carson Smith of New Castle.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Minnick (Driver) of Middletown; his sons, Brian Minnick of Middletown and John Minnick (Mindy) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Collin Minnick of Indianapolis and Sophie Minnick of Indianapolis; and his nephews, Patrick Hanes of Bonners Ferry, ID and Tony Hanes (Lynnette) of Indianapolis.
