He was predeceased by : his parents, William Gobel and Flossie Pearl Gilvin (Holland); his son Michael Bowe Gilvin; and his siblings, Leslie, Paul, Tommy Gilvin, Rosie Carlisle and Maxine Carlisle.
He is survived by : his wife Shirley Gilvin (Williams); his children, Dan Gilvin (Shelly), Mark Gilvin (Diane) and Kathy Bailey (Steven); and his brother Raymond Gilvin. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
