It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Adelaide Gramps of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Ciesielski and John Ciesielski; her husband Hilton L. Gramps; her daughter Janice Alliss; her son-in-law Bennett Alliss; her brother John Ciesielski; and her sister-in-law Jean Ciesielski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Portolese (Ron) and Linda Gunther (Ron); her grandchildren, Todd Clement (Carmen), Adam Clement (Debbie), Gayla Deering, Matthew Portolese (Claire) and Jessica Quinn (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Morgan Clement, Dane, Cade Clement, Joseph, Jack, Julia Portolese, Jackson and Annabelle Quinn.
It was to be her centennial birthday celebration year, but it was eclipsed by surviving a Covid diagnosis and followed by many mandated restrictions and quarantine periods.
