It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Bambenek of South Bend, Indiana, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Severine Janutka and Kaisershatt; her husband Mark A. Bambenek; her daughter Terese Michalski; and her brother Thomas Janutka.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Lukow of South Bend, Phil Bambenek of South Bend and Andy Bambenek of South Bend; and her grandchildren, Thomas Lukow (Kerry) of Bloomington, IL, Raymond Bakos (Dani) of South Bend, Ariel Bambenek of South Bend, Margaret Bambenek of South Bend, Mark Bambenek of South Bend, Julianna Michalski of South Bend and Kassandra Michalski of South Bend. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
