She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Schaffner and Grace Schaffner (Gump); and her granddaughter Tiffany Smith. She is survived by: her son Gary W.; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Lueneburg of Bonita Springs, FL; and her grandchildren, Michael W. Lueneburg (Katie), Christi Frederick (Chris), Lisa McNamara and Chad Smith (Jessica). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Welsheimer North (17033 Cleveland Rd, South Bend, IN 46635). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
