He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gruenig and Elizabeth Gruenig (Whaley). He is survived by: his wife Frances Anne Gruenig; his sons, John Gruenig (Chris) and Steven Gruenig; his grandsons, Matthew, Alexander and Jacob Gruenig; and his siblings, Mary Landers (David) and John Gruenig.
