He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude L. Lunsford, Sr. and Opal Garnet Driscoll; his siblings, Brian Lunsford, Sr. and Joanne Opal Lunsford Kiester; and his wife Bobbie Ann Lunsford.

He is survived by : his daughter Derise Ann Wood (Stephen M.); his grandsons, Jason M. Wood, Robby L. Wood (Jaime S.) and Todd A. Wood (Alicia D.); and his great grandchildren, Caden S. E. Wood (Abbie G.), Gracey S. Donaldson, Nevaeh S. Wood, Sophia L. Wood, Mattie A. Wood of Javan, H. S and Paisley D. Wood.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home of Florence (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Williams Funeral Home (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A burial was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Milford Cemetery.
