She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Thompson and Leota G. Thompson (Guise); and her spouse Thomas E. Mellander. She is survived by: her children, Janet A. Magnelli (Joseph) of Crystal Lake, IL, Carol E. Kemper (Anthony) of Georgetown, IN and Robert J. Mellander of South Bend; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Phillip, Julia Magnelli, Benjamin, Carmen Kemper and Heather Mellander.
Due to COVID-19 the family will be holding a private memorial service.
