He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pauluhn and Mia Pauluhn (Bergte). He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, David Pauluhn (Rita) of Wright City, MO, Michael Pauluhn (Rachel Sue) of St. Louis, MO, Rhoda Bohlmann (Mike) of St. Louis, MO, Rachel Pauluhn of St. Louis, MO, Adam Pauluhn (Zhanna) of Niwot, CO and Matthew Pauluhn of St. Louis, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Reiter of South Bend and Susan Bagby of Michigan City, IN.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
