He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Adolf and Esther Dyer (Andrews); and his siblings, Iota Koelz, Sandra Thompson and Paul Dyer.
He is survived by: his wife Karen (Rahn); his children, Susan Van Dusen (John), Brett, James and Chad (Jenn); his grandchildren, Haley, Maudrey Van Dusen and Alyssa Dyer; and his sisters, Diane Berger (Jim) and Melanie Radican (Chris).
