He is survived by: his wife Sandra Herron-Harper of South Bend; his mother Dora Esther Harper-Lee of South Bend; his mother-in-law Pat Herron of South Bend; his children, Shalonda McGee-Hardin (Amando), David Jr. of South Bend, IN, Daniel of South Bend, IN, Dexter of South Bend, IN, Darius Harper of South Bend, IN, Carlos (Tamiko) and Derrick Harper of Indianapolis, IN; and his brothers, Jerry and Steve Harper of South Bend, IN. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; as well as a host of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
