It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Simpson Sr. of South Bend, Indiana, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Simpson and Vivian Simpson (Cass); his former wife Phyllis Steele White; and his wife Margaret McCandless. He is survived by: his children, Lori Abel (Marc) of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Douglas B. Simpson, Jr. (Bertha Wilder) of South Bend and Joel Simpson (Linda) of Austin, TX; his granddaughters, Jessica Abel and Rebekah Abel (Andy Pratt); and his sister Sue Koziol (Joe) of Holland, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
