With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edmund Roberts Farmer of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon C. Farmer and Martha Farmer; his wife Ruth B. Farmer; his son John; his stepmother Esther Hole-Farmer; his brother L. Charles; and his siblings-in-law, Francis and Jack.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Sutherland of Hilton Head, SC; his children, Marilyn Bechler (David) of Menlo, GA, James Farmer (Deborah) of Granger, IN and Donna Rau (James) of Lawton, MI.; his grandchildren, Emily Allen (Brian), Shane Bechler (Katy), Kathryn Farmer, Lauren Farmer, Kyle Rau and Erika Rau; and his great grandchildren, Vida Ruth Allen, Louna Kai Allen and Ada Millie Bechler.
