Elaine M. Baumgartner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine M. Baumgartner of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schneider and Lucille Schneider (Marshall); her husband Charles "Chuck" L. Baumgartner Jr.; her brother Frank Schneider Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Schneider and Ray Mooney; her niece Peggy Mooney Welter; and her great-niece Erin Jehl.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Bruner (Dennis) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Linda Melsa (Peter) of Niles, Michigan, Doug Baumgartner (Cindy) of South Bend, Indiana and Phillip Baumgartner (Sue) of Mishawaka, Indiana; her sister Joan Mooney of Mishawaka, IN; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Baumgartner of Vandalia, MI, Larry Brafman of Peru, IL, Janet Baumgartner of Grand Rapids, MI and Erma Schneider of Portage, MI.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
