With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva M. Abbiehl of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Seward Rule and Violet Jones (McGowen); and her husband Leroy Abbiehl. She is survived by: her daughter Sherry "Cheryl" Wilson; her granddaughter Amanda Abbiehl; her siblings, Shirley Stine, Maxine Balsley, Lester Sherk, Ronald Sherk and Paul Sherk; her son Brian Abbiehl (Cindy); her grandchildren, Andrew Abbiehl, Chris Lindzy, David Lindzy and Reanna Salazar; and her brother Bill Sherk. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
