He was predeceased by: his father Lance Adams, Jr.; and his siblings, Alonzo Adams, William Adams and Zina Adams. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Poindexter (Brown); his wife Esmine Brown; his siblings, Dawn Poindexter and Lance Adams 3rd; his children, Glenda Brown, Malcom McDonald, Gleniece Brown, Glenisha Brown and Ken Griffin; his grandchildren, Dejion, Camryn, Jada, Jayiona, Dayonna and Jaiden; his nieces, Shakeya Buchanan, Tiara Green and Tionna Green; his aunt Dianne Gammage; and his uncle Orlando Woods.
