It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Beckett of South Bend, Indiana, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bigham and Flora Willis (Nance); his sister Bernice Milligan; and his great grandchild Sarah Beckett. He is survived by: his wife Janet Warford; and his children, Drucella Beckett, Metoyer Clardy (Timmie), Letitia Haywood (Rod), James E. Beckett Jr., Tonya Watson (David) and Tyran Beckett. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
