He was predeceased by: his father Paul M. Kimmel; and his wife Julie Harbaugh. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Kimmel (Bognar) of New Carlisle; his sons, Eric Kimmel (Rachael) of South Bend, Korey Kimmel of Mishawaka and Jeremy Stein (Julia) of Boynton Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Ellie, Carter, Anna Kimmel and Lukas Stein; his brothers, Dennis Kimmel (Denise) of Mishawaka and David Kimmel (Lori) of New Carlisle; and his aunt Maxine Bly of South Bend.
