He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Lester and Alma Lester (Horn); and his wife Marsha (Haehnlen). He is survived by: his children, Jessica Lester, Valerie Lester, Jennifer Brown, Kimberly Brown, Denice Tompkins Mettert and James Tompkins; and his sisters, Elizabeth, Susie, Belinda and Rita.
