He was predeceased by: his father William Bergen; his stepmother Pamela Ray Bergen; and also Susan Greene Bergen. He is survived by: his children, Zach, Lyndsey Bergen of Beaverton, OR and Zachary Bergen (Beth); his grandsons, Spencer and Logan Bergen; his sisters, Julie Wonisch (Bill) and Jill Bergen of South Bend; his former wife Tish Bonnell; and also Sue Bergen of Mishawaka. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Due to the health and safety standards for Covid-19 face masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
