It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bauters of South Bend, Indiana, born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Goethals and Irene Goethals (Coppens); and her husband Oscar Bauters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
