It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Milani of South Bend, Indiana, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ken; her sons, Mike and Adam; her grandchildren, David Rogers, Michael Rogers, Hannah Dokey, Tim Milani and Katie Milani; her sisters, Sallie Whelan, Barbara Burgess and Marilyn Shoellhorn; her parents, Mildred Whelan and Ralph Whelan; her sister Karen Whelan; her brother-in-law Kent Shoellhorn; and her nieces, Anne Hughes and Kara Nawrocki.
Sadly, Alzheimer's diminished Joan's ability to read and recall.
