She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Weaver and Martha Weaver (Simmons); her husband Newton F. Straup; her sister Sharon; and her brother-in-law Robert Batten.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Thornton (Paul) of South Bend, Ann Hummel (Gary) of Indianapolis and Brian Straup (Carolyn) of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, Lyndsey LaLonde, Jennifer Schuring, Kaitlin Hummel, Brandon Hummel, Bradley Straup (Marley) and Andrew Straup; and her great grandchildren, Shannon, Michael, Benjamin, Molly, Celia LaLonde, Kaleb and Micah Schuring.
