We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2021, John H. Schalk of South Bend, Indiana, born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Schalk and Ceccila Schalk (Vislay); his mother-in-law Cynthia A. Slade; and his sister Delores Harmon. He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Chrapliwy (Bill) of Bloomington, IN; his stepdaughters, Suzanne "Sue" Diamond of South Bend and Shari Jones (Jon) of Vancleave; and his son David Schalk (Donalyn) of Niles, MI. He is also survived by grandchildren and one (1) great-grandchild.
