With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John N. Marroni Sr. of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2022 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John N. Marroni Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Marroni (Valenti) and Donato Marroni; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Rodino; his siblings, Rosina, Yolanda Retek (Paul), Julia Hoffman (Marion), Mary Marroni and Berto Marroni (Dolly); his son-in-law Donny Pierson; and his nephew Ken Hurt (Amy).
He is survived by: his caregivers, Sandy, Lynie, McKenzie, Nancy, Anissa and Brittany; his friend Michael; his children, Barb Marroni-Pierson of South Bend, John Marroni Jr. of South Bend and Dan Marroni of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Alida Goffinski (Alan), Celeste Marroni, Mario Marroni, Kyle Pierson and Nicholas Pierson; his sisters, Helen Counts (Ed) and Rose Ann Edstrom (Kenny); his brother-in-law Louie Rodino; and his great grandchild Malcah Marroni. He is also survived by his cousins, many nieces and nephews.
He also enjoyed seeing his other caregivers, Sandy, Lynie and McKenzie on the weekends, before the Covid epidemic.
