He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reed and Viola Lucille Reed; his son James Michael Reed; and his brother Roger Reed. He is survived by: his siblings, Daryl Reed (Janet) and Patricia Leto (Steve); his children, John Reed Jr. (Tami) and Laura Jeffery (Peter); his stepchildren, Timothy Humphries and Bethany Humphries; and his wife Patsy Humphries Reed. He is also survived by grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
