With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Anthony Gatto (South Bend, Indiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Gatto and Mary Gatto (Colantoinio); his wife Barbara Ann Engle; his children, Suzanne Gibbons (Emil), Mary Gatto (Bob) and Joseph Gatto (Tracy); his grandchildren, Jessica, Lindsay, Brian, Kayla, Bennett, Jay and Emily; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Dandy and Cora (Vonnie Hering); his sister Rosemary Turner; and his cousin Fred Colantonio.
