He was predeceased by: his parents, Hassen Hammood, Sr. and Mary B. Navarro (May). He is survived by: his children, Kirsten Bates of Vermont, Hassen "Smokey" Hammood, III (Chelsea) of New York and Michael Hammood of Elkhart; and his siblings, Bridget M. Holt (Kyle), Vera Hammood-Baxter, Maria S. Navarro of South Bend, Christina M. Navarro (Heather) of Mishawaka, Severiana M. Navarro of South Bend, Frank Hammood (Rachel) of Koontz Lake, Manuel M. Navarro (Jennifer) of South Bend, Chris Tian and Tom Szalewski.
