She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Reason Downard and Velvah Fern Downard (Booth); her brothers, Donald Dwight and John Francis; her grandparents, William, Martha Ann Downard (McDonald), Joseph and Margaret Elizabeth Booth (McKnight); her parents-in-law, Frank Anton and Gertrude Cecelia Kiene (Hughes); and her stepdaughter Patricia Ehret.
She is survived by: her former spouse Francis Anthony Kiene, Jr.; her children, Francis Anthony Kiene, III (Bobbie) of Bloomington and Bronwyn Ann Kiene (Adam) of Portage, Indiana; her stepchildren, Cecelia Lewis (Larry) of Burlington, Karl Kiene (Cora) of Burleson and Erin Kauffman (Ken) of Emporia, Kansas; her brother Darby Downard (Linda) of Eureka, Kansas; her sisters-in-law, Carol Herbert (Jerry) of Lenexa and Marilee Phillips (Bill) of Emporia, Kansas; her grandchildren, Kiara Darlene, Katherine Ann (Jake), Shannon (Richard), Casey (Debra), Carlton, Martin, Barbara Jean, Andi (Matt), Alisa (Will), Ryan (Stacey), Daniel (Claudia), Lauren (Jason) and Morgan; her uncle Leonard Booth (Jean); her pet Cappy; and her husband Fran. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In accordance with current St. Joseph County health and safety guidelines, the family respectfully requests that everyone wear protective masks and practice social distancing.
