It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence E. Gay of South Bend, Indiana, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everett George and Kathryn Eleanor Gay (May); his wife Susan K. Young; his children, Barbara King of Bremen, Indiana and Robert Gay (Melissa) of South Bend, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jarod, Madelyn, Douglas, Emily and Mason; his brother Richard Gay (Martha) of Peoria, Illinois; his daughter Cheryl; and his grandson Tyler.
