She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Griffith and Myrtle Griffith (Rouse); her husband Don "Fred" Auer; and her siblings, Ciara Teeter, Martha Jane Hubbell, Marjorie King, Mary Bell Schidleer, George and Estil Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Susan McGowan (Kevin) and Robert Auer (Angela Duvall); her grandchildren, Philip A. McGowan, Kaitlyn Reichert (Isaac), Zachary Auer, Abigail Auer and Jacob McGowan; and her great grandchildren, Kayla, Andrew and Charles McGowan.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Center for Hospice Care at 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
