He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maria Guadalupe Garcia (Ramirez) and Marcos Garcia; his children, Eloisa Garcia (Jorge Cerrillo) of Mexico, Amelia Garcia of Mexico, Javier (Eva Garcia) of Mexico, Victor Garcia of Mexico, Veronica L. Garcia of Santa Maria, CA, Marcos S. Garcia (Otilia) of Santa Maria, Josephine Garcia of Santa Maria and Marizol Roland (Daniel) of Santa Maria; and his siblings, Antonio Garcia (Marina) of South Bend, Jose Garcia (Carmen) of Mexico, Jose Isabel Garcia (Olivia) of Santa Maria, Francisca Garcia of South Bend, Rafael Garcia (Gloria) of South Bend and Pablo Garcia of South Bend. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
