She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Budny and Carrie Budny (Goraczewski); her daughter Carrie Niezgodzki; her brother Edward Budny; and her siblings-in-law, Jon Hickey and Lucille Budny.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Niezgodzki; her children, Jennifer Niezgodzki, David Niezgodzki (Tammy) of South Bend and Joseph Niezgodzki of Koloa, Hawaii; her grandsons, Maurice Cathey, II (Crystal) and Kenneth DeSmet (Ashley); her great grandchild Coby Sparks; her grandchildren, Ayden, Kasen DeSmet, Calea, Calijah, Jermay, Marcellus and Zyaire Cathey; her sister Barbara Horvath (Dennis) of South Bend, Indiana; and her sister-in-law Theresa Hickey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
