She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Taylor and Eva Mae Taylor (Huff); her son Dennis Kaplon; her former husband Edwin P. Kaplon; her sister Laura Lea Melton; her stepbrother Charles Blake; and her stepmother Isabelle Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Morris of New Carlisle, Diana Lips of South Bend and Michele Wyatt (Kerry) of South Bend; her daughter-in-law Theresa Kaplon-Jungkind of LaPorte; her grandchildren, Jennifer Evans (Ryan), Stacy Niespodziny (T. J.), Jason Lips (Haley), Angela Lips (Steve Cheak), Shane Kaplon, Dylan Kaplon (Jennifer), Ryan Milliken, Samantha Brady and Tim Brady (Holly Ward); her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Kerrigan, Chase, Hudson, Judah and Kyler; and her stepbrothers, Doug and Robert Blake.
