Miriam Long Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Miriam Long of South Bend, Indiana, born in Phillipsburg, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Litten and Josephine Litten (Richter); her husband Robert Long; and her siblings, Robert Litten and Dorothy Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Norman K. Long (Linda) of Needham, Jean Wehling of Danville and Jane Eaton of Punta Gorda, Florida.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Miriam Long Scholarship at Elm Road Elementary School at 59400 Elm Road, Mishawaka, IN 46544 or One Mission Society at 941 Fry Road, Greenwood, IN 46142.
