She was predeceased by: her grandchild Jasma Butler, Jr.; her great grandchild Tre'Onna Lynn Taylor; and her siblings, Myrtle Smith, Jeanette Johnson and Melvin D. Smith.

She is survived by: her spouse Dale Williams; her mother Jessie McClain of South Bend; her sons, Montoan Butler (Erica) of Indianapolis, IN, Jasma Butler (Celena) of South Bend and Darwin M. Smith of South Bend; her sibling Toya Williams (Ronald) of Indianapolis, IN.; her grandchildren, Jazzmine Hasan, Trevion Taylor, Malik Butler, Tarionna "Tweety" Woods, Tarius Blade, Genesis Butler, Jyseir "Duke" Butler, Maddyx Butler and McKinley "Diva" Butler; her great grandchildren, Teriyon Taylor, Elliot Taylor and Taneelah Webster; and her siblings, Catherine "Cookie" Grundy-Davis of Ohio, Bernice Harris of South Bend, Karen "Lynn" Smith (Richard) of Minnesota, Charlene Smith of South Bend, Cedric Smith of Illinois, Joe Mobley (Deborah) of South Bend and Brian Johnson of Wisconsin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
