She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sr. Schafer and Flora Schafer (Renn); her husband Harvey W. Krentz; her siblings, Mary Anderson, Flora Wessel and James Schafer; and her stepdaughter Sally Finck.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Wiegand (Jim) of South Bend, IN and Rev. Robert A. Dowd (S. C.); her brother Charles Schafer Jr. of Clarksville, IN; and her stepchildren, Lynn Mittal (Sanjiv) of Fremont, CA, Tim Krentz (Michele) of Krum, TX and Richard Krentz (Denise) of LaPorte, IN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
