He is survived by: his wife Audrey A. Dornhoefer Rushing; his children, Kenneth Rushing (Amanda) of Owings, Maryland and Barbara Bode (Thomas) of Canton, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Brent Bode, Bryce Bode and Brooke Baker (Evan).

Memorial Contributions may be directed to Shriners Hospital for Children.
