It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Donald Verhaegen of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Verhaegen and Lillian Verhaegen; his siblings, Harvey, Leo, Victor, Shirley and Joann Mays; and his nephews, Andy Mays and Donald Fine.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Bridgette and Jacob; his sister Margaret Fine; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy English, S. Zoe Kane (Jacque) and Tenette Verhaegen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and one great-great nephew.
