He is survived by: his wife Patricia F. Maurer; his sons, Timothy M. Maurer (Andrea), Christopher K. Maurer (Darci) of South Bend and Robert S. Maurer (Diane) of Granger; and his grandchildren, Brett, Matthew, Aiden, Megan, Sydney, Ashton and Everett.
